Punctuation and Capitalization Rules for Titles
Titles are generally not sentences and do not require a period at the end.
Capitalize every word in a title except
- articles (a, an, the)
- short prepositions (in, on, of, for)
- coordinating conjunctions (but, and, nor, so, or, yet)
…UNLESS these are the first or last word in the title, in which case you do capitalize them.
